Coach Scott

Coach Scott has been helping develop SVC athletes for the past four years, bringing a calm, steady presence to every practice and tournament.

He first joined the sidelines while supporting his daughter's teams and discovered a genuine passion for teaching the game. That experience grew into a committed coaching role where he now helps players build fundamentals and confidence. In addition to coaching at SVC, Scott serves as a middle school volleyball coach for Sarasota Christian.

Scott's playing background includes recreational volleyball in the Navy, where he developed the teamwork and discipline that now shape his coaching approach.

His coaching philosophy is simple: build your game on a foundation of strong fundamentals, play with love for the sport, encourage your teammates always, and remember that every effort brings you one step closer to your best.
