Myreli

Myreli, the dynamic President and Club Director of SVC, embodies the very essence of our club's mission. With a heart dedicated to empowering every girl to believe in her ability to change the world, Myreli envisions SVC as more than just a volleyball club—it's a platform for life-changing experiences.

She joined SVC in 2018 and brings over 30 years of coaching experience and 26+ years in education. Her coaching career spans Borinquen Coqui Volleyball Club, Suncoast Volleyball Club, EVO Athletics Volleyball, Cardinal Mooney (freshman coach), St. Martha Catholic School, McIntosh Middle School, Nolan Middle School, Booker Middle School, Brookside Middle School, Sarasota Suncoast Academy, and Sarasota Volleyball Club.

Hailing from Puerto Rico, Myreli's own playing journey runs deep: club volleyball in Puerto Rico from ages 13–18, varsity volleyball at APS, two years of NCAA Division II volleyball at Barry University, and continued competition in the Masters League in Puerto Rico.

As if that's not enough, she also serves as the Student/Parent/Teacher Liaison and Head Volleyball Coach at Sarasota Suncoast Academy, bridging communication between families and the school while fostering a culture of growth, connection, and excellence both on and off the court.

Off the court, Myreli is a proud mom of three. With her at the helm, SVC is not just a club; it's a transformative journey where fun, friendship, and character development converge on the path to success.
