Angel Gaskin is a West Florida native and retired professional volleyball player whose journey from local courts to international arenas reflects determination, resilience, and a lifelong commitment to excellence. Today, she runs SVC's private lessons through her own program, A-League Volley, using her global playing experience and deep technical knowledge to elevate young talent.

Angel discovered volleyball at age 14 after moving from Bradenton to Tampa. Starting on the lowest-level club team at Tampa United, she rapidly climbed to the top team by the next season — a jump fueled by her work ethic, her parents' unwavering support, and countless hours spent in private lessons, camps, and extra training. She went on to play at Plant High School, one of Florida's premier programs, and committed to the University of Maryland as a sophomore.

From 2015–2017, Angel competed for the University of Maryland, earning BIG10 Freshman of the Week honors, a spot on the USA Collegiate National Team, and serving as team captain. She transferred to the University of Hawai'i for her final season, where she helped lead the Rainbow Wahine to the NCAA Tournament and also competed for their beach volleyball program. She graduated in December 2019 and turned to her professional aspirations.

Angel's professional career began in 2020, taking her to elite leagues across Greece, Sweden, Switzerland, Cyprus, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. During her standout season in Sweden, she became the league's top right-side hitter, earned six MVP awards, and helped her team secure a silver medal in the national championship. She later played in the inaugural season of the Professional Volleyball Federation (PVF), contributing to a historic moment for women's volleyball in the United States. After five seasons abroad and domestically, she retired in November 2024.

Returning home to Florida, Angel is now dedicated to giving young athletes the same opportunities that once shaped her own path. As a coach, she emphasizes strong technique, smart mechanics, and a powerful volleyball IQ — developing well-rounded, confident, and dynamic players prepared to succeed on and off the court.
